Writers publish stories, apply to the Medium Partner Program, and—once accepted and fully enrolled—can make eligible stories paywalled. Medium shares membership revenue based on member engagement and activity, while payouts require connected Stripe and taxpayer information. Check the current eligibility list before relying on it: acceptance, a supported bank and tax country, a complete profile, recent publishing activity, and compliance with originality, quality, spam, plagiarism, and AI-content rules are all required.
