What you actually do
Hosts create an event page, collect registrations, manage guests, and sell fixed-price, sliding-scale, donation, approval-based, or waitlisted tickets. Paid events require a connected Stripe account, and proceeds follow the Stripe payout schedule. Check the economics before pricing: Luma’s free plan charges a 5% platform fee plus Stripe processing, and the chosen ticket currency is not automatically converted for each guest.
