What you actually do
Rev freelancers apply for transcription, captioning, subtitle translation, or legal transcription, complete a role-specific skills assessment and work sample, then choose available audio or video assignments. Approved work is paid weekly through PayPal, with no minimum schedule. The important current caveat is capacity: Rev says it has a waitlist because of high application volume, so approval may take longer and applicants still need the required computer, internet, language, and accuracy skills.
