What you actually do
Toptal is a curated freelance network for experienced developers, designers, marketers, finance specialists, product managers and project managers. Applying is free: you create a profile, then complete a multi-stage screening covering English, domain skills, a live expert interview and a one-to-three-week test project. Toptal publishes that roughly three percent of applicants are accepted and that members set their own hourly rates, choose up to fifty hours a week, are paid in USD, and owe no commission.
